If you’re planning a boat tour in Southport or Oak Island, we can’t wait to welcome you aboard! Whether you’re joining us for a scenic cruise, eco-history tour, or sunset ride, here are a few helpful tips to make your experience smooth and stress-free.

Booking Your Boat Tour

You can book your boat tour:

  • Online (fastest and easiest)

  • Over the phone

  • In person at our ticket booth

Our blue ticket booth is located in downtown Southport right beside The Mullet Bar. If you’re not familiar with the area, we’re conveniently situated between Provision Company and Fishy Fishy Cafe — right in the heart of the waterfront district.

We always recommend booking early, especially during peak season in Southport and Oak Island. Private cruises and large groups tend to fill up quickly, particularly for sunset cruises and weekend boat rides.

When to Arrive

Please plan to arrive 15–20 minutes before your scheduled departure time.

If you’re part of a large group or private cruise, we suggest arriving even earlier to allow time for check-in, unloading coolers, and getting everyone settled.

Check-in is simple:

  • Head to our blue ticket booth

  • Give us the name on your reservation

  • Relax in our spacious waterfront waiting area until boarding

You’ll enjoy beautiful views of the water while you wait — it’s all part of the experience.

Parking Information

Parking is easy and convenient:

  • Spaces are available directly in front of The Mullet Bar

  • There is also free public parking around the entire block

During busy weekends and summer evenings, arriving early helps ensure you find a great parking spot.

Restrooms & What to Bring

All of our boats have bathrooms onboard. However, we still recommend using the dockside facilities before departure — especially for longer cruises.

Good news: BYOB is allowed!

  • Public cruises: Feel free to bring a small cooler

  • Private boat rides: You’re welcome to bring a larger cooler

Bring your favorite drinks, snacks, sunglasses, and a light layer for sunset cruises — it can get breezy on the water.
